At Home in Andalusia is a young company managed by Danielle Gouwens.
 
Having excelled in the Marketing & Communications industry, back home in Holland, Danielle decided to leave the hectic Dutch culture and head to sunny southern Spain.
 
So in 2003, she packed her bags and headed south!! Initially she concentrated on learning the language and so studied for the first 3 months, having gained her qualification and fluency, she then started to work for various spanish estate agents.
 
Four years on, she is now ready to independently guide her clients through the Spanish bureaucracy, so they too can feel at home in beautiful Andalusia.
 
Danielle: "I am still impressed by the beauty of nature in this area, and I really enjoy the long lasting summers. Together with our dog I wander around for hours, passing orange trees, enjoying the sunshine. It is in these moments I realise how lucky I am to be able to live in this beautiful part of Europe. Because of the relaxed culture I learnt to appreciate small things in life again. I can truly say this big change in my life really made me a happier person. Being able to now help my clients fulfilling their dreams as well is absolutely fantastic!"
