Nigüelas is a lively and picturesque village in the Lecrín Valley, set at the foot of the Sierra Nevada National Park. It offers all essential amenities including a nursery school, primary school, bank, pharmacy, small supermarkets, bakeries, a museum, theatre and music school.
The village has several tapas bars dotted around its pretty squares and two excellent restaurants. On the edge of the village are two large supermarkets (Mercadona and Lidl), and there is a regular bus service to Granada city.
The location is ideal: Granada city 20 minutes' drive, the beach 25 minutes, Granada Airport 30 minutes, Málaga Airport 70 minutes.
